what i'm searching for is the beauty of the sky
the beauty that is so prevalent in an eye
that looks that high
when such beauty comes your way
there is not much that you can say
the world feels lighter and you feel stronger
and somehow you wish you could stay a little longer
in that moment
then that moment that feeling that joy
may pass away but you will not forget that day
when you wished time would not slip away
even though it did!
and you think why couldn't i just be
with the people who make me feel happy
and why do i have to go back to being a little sad
then you realize and thank God for this short while you feel so glad
B'cos if it happened everyday
you would not cherish yesterday!
